Introducing self

Hi, my name is Cal Jones. I am a busy mother of two who works hard and studies even harder. The purpose of this paper is to describe my life and the person that I am. The following paragraph will entail my work, school, and social life. This paper required a lot of introspect. I enjoyed reflecting on my chaotic but blessed life.
I live in Warner Robins. I have one sister and one brother. I also have a half brother and sister. I have two children who are in elementary school. I love living in middle Georgia and plan on staying here forever.
I am a student at Macon State College. I am going to school for an associate degree in nursing. I love the medical field. I especially love working with patients. Direct patient care is very rewarding. I love to see my patients get better and come back to visit. I am very excited about going into the nursing field. I feel it will be worth all of my hard work.
I work at a local hospital as a unit secretary and a patient care technician in the medical intensive care unit. I have many duties and responsibilities at my job. As a patient care technician I am responsible for all facets of patient care. This includes monitoring vital signs, general patient condition, and heart rhythms. As a secretary I am responsible for processing orders from physicians, maintaining charts and medical records, and clerical duties to keep the unit running in a orderly fashion. I really enjoy my work but I am looking forward to advancing my career in the nursing field.
In my spare time I love to read. My favorite types of books are inspirational. I am currently reading Quiet Storm. It is a book by young black women. My favorite poem is called women warrior. This poem describes the frustration of being a young ambitious woman. I use my books to pick me up when my stressful life has me down. I also enjoy spending quality time with my kids. We love to go bowling. I’m not very good passionate about my children and make them a priority in my life.
